I know of a saying that goes, "Fate will only take you so far, once you are there, it is up to you to take the next steps" or something like that. Not until last Thursday did I fully understand what this actually means and how it feels to be taken by fate so far until I realize that his part is done and its my turn to take the steps. I am still overwhelmed, excited, scared, a bit confused but hopeful nevertheless because of the opportunity that came my way, not that I did not actively seek it. It is as if heaven's gate opened and finally granted the prayer I have long been praying.
Next month, I will be joining the government labor force under the Executive branch. I almost gave up on this. But never to the hope that I will be getting better opportunities. Now, its almost official (almost because I haven't signed the papers yet and my new boss has not yet sent the document). I'll be doing what I love to do and what I hope I would do.
